Summer Season 2024

Click on your lesson day(s) below for start dates, end dates as well as closures for holidays or special events. The Summer 2024 Season is 9 weeks in length.

Prior to Friday June 28,  make sure to inform us of any dates you will not be here due to other pre-scheduled commitments in order for us to remove them from your invoice (maximum 2). Once the season is underway, any cancellation will just be considered a missed lesson unless deemed an unsafe weather condition.

For any cancellations throughout the season, please contact the office by phone 519-986-1247 with at least 24 hours notice if possible out of respect for our volunteer’s time and staff’s preparation.

Make-Up Lessons, Credits and Refunds
Credits or refunds may be offered only when Hope Haven cancels due to weather concerns or if  there has been a significant medical change in the participant. Make-up lessons will not be offered for any cancellations.

Wear weather appropriate clothing including pants (even in hot weather), boots or closed toed shoes and your own helmet. In colder weather don’t forget to layer well and wear finger gloves in order to properly hold onto reins.
Anyone accompanying riders into the barns must be in closed toed shoes as well or you will be asked to remain outside.
Bring your own refillable water bottle, especially through the warmer seasons.
Please leave your dogs at home, if you have to bring them in your vehicle, you may walk them on the road.

Here is what we are encouraging before coming to Hope Haven:

If you have any symptoms of being ill, please stay home until:

  • No fever + Symptoms improving for at least 24 hrs (or 48hrs if it's gastrointestinal).

When you return to Hope Haven after being ill:

  • We are strongly encouraging masking x 10 days from the start of your symptoms. We have lots of masks available on site for anyone's use.

If you have NO symptoms but have tested covid positive because you knew you were a very close contact, mask x 10 days from day of test.

Thank you for considering the health of others so that we can all continue to enjoy our time at Hope!
